A Walk With Trees
Throughout history, the woodland landscape of England has been continually changing. As well as native trees, many varieties have been introduced from around the world. On this fascinating walk through our large woodland, Forest Rangers will teach you how to identify various trees and tell you about their history.
Abseiling
Falling to earth is such an exhilarating feeling and in this beginner's abseiling session you'll learn all the necessary rope skills to be able to climb our 13 metre tower and control your descent back down to the bottom.
Activ 8
A new morning activity session for children. Activities take place inside and outside and include Flu Flu, Junior Power Walk, Mini Musketeers and Unihoc.
Adventure Golf
Travel back in time when you embark on a special golf adventure into Medieval Britain. Then if you feel really brave why not challenge King Arthur to a round?
Adventure Playground
Our Adventure Playground is the perfect place for children to burn off excess energy.
Challenge Course
Your team will rely on each other to achieve the challenges set by this demanding low ropes course, which include the Spider's Web, Chasm Crossing, Balance Beam and aptly named Heebie Jeebie, and you're sure to have a laugh together along the way. It may take place closer to the ground, but it's still not for the faint hearted!
Children's Entertainment
There'll be giggles, belly laughs, excitement and wonder as our fabulous children's entertainers take to the floor. Depending on the performer, the sessions may include games, songs, tricks, funny characters, dancing and general silliness. Everyone is encouraged to join in, and everyone will leave with a smile on their face.
Climbing
Our 9 metre climbing wall has been cleverly designed with routes for beginners that will familiarise them with climbing techniques and skills, and more demanding options to challenge experienced climbers. The session starts with tuition and a safety briefing from an experienced instructor, then it's time to head skywards.
Crazy Clocks
In our inspiring new Artworx space, you can experiment with different artistic styles and techniques, from pencil drawings to collages, then get creative designing your own funky clock.
Face Painting
Become a beautiful butterfly or a ferocious tiger! Using washable face paints, we'll capture active imaginations and transform little ones into colourful characters for the day.
Flu Flu
An innovative and entertaining combination of archery and golf, Flu Flu consists of a course of hoops, through which you fire a specially designed arrow called a Flu Flu. The scoring system is similar to golf and the course is suitable for all skill levels and ages.
Hair Braiding
Girls love to co-ordinate accessories and little trendsetters can have a super cool hair braid decorated with their choice of pretty coloured beads to match their favourite outfit.
High Ropes
A cunning collection of poles, ropes and beams form a daring course of action, set out to include the 'Multi Vine', 'Balancing Beams', the 'Inclined Log', Leap of Faith and 'High All Abroad'.
Horse Riding Western Style
Explore the forest and the beautiful surrounding countryside on exhilarating rides and treks from the nearby stables. Suitable for beginners. Western style uses a larger saddle and longer reins than the English style.
Jewellery Making
Using beautiful beads in different colours, shapes and sizes, our jewellery designers create either a necklace or bracelet and a matching pair of pierced earrings to keep (and no doubt impress their friends when they get home!).
Junior Archery
Guided and encouraged by our experienced team, children can learn basic archery techniques and practice their aim, firing at targets
Kids Combat
With the help of supervised tuition and team games, would-be Karate Kids learn various martial arts kicks and moves.
Laser Combat
A family paintball adventure without the paint! Armed with the state-ot-the-art laser guns, you and your team sneak through the forest, manoeuvering around barricades to beat your rivals and solve the Ranger Mission.
Little Indians
Our youngest archers can imagine themselves as red Indians in the Wild West as they learn how to use a bow and arrow to shoot at targets.
Magical Makeovers
For all children with a yearning to be a fairytale character or superhero, we'll make their dream come true. They can choose from a fantastic array of wonderful costumes then, with clever make-up and brilliant painted backdrops, their transformation is complete and recorded for all time on a photo to take home.
Mini Motivators
Moving, jumping, bending, stretching; our entertaining exercise class to music gives a great workout, helping to keep kids supple and strong.
Raft Building
For this adventurous challenge, your team will receive a plan and materials, then the clock starts ticking. You'll have to build your raft in the time allowed. Then comes the ultimate test; will your raft float or will it sink?!
Soccer Academy
A vigorous, professional coaching course to improve ball skills and team play. Prizes for best player, most improved player, penalty competition winner. Certificates awarded at end of course.
Star Struck
Pretend you're a pop star in a music video and learn a choreographed dance routine to some of the latest tracks then put on a grande finale.
Super Scented Suds
Pamper yourself or treat your Mum with a beautiful bath-time present by creating your own fabulously fragrant soap, scented bubble bath and a fantastic fizzy bath bomb.

Fancy having a go on our Treasure Hunt? Come along to the Rangers' Lodge and get the first clue to lead you on a tour of the forest.
Tree Trekking
You are connected into the Expo Glider safety harness system whilst you tackle our Aerial Adventure course, experiencing the many individual challenges from the Postman's Walk, Burma Bridge, Hanging Platforms and Indiana Bridge to make the exhilarating 13 metres Power Fan finale where you will make a quick and controlled descent to the ground.
Woodland Awakening
Work up an appetite by exploring the forest in the morning. One things for sure - you're bound to to enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
Zip Wire
This is the ultimate rush! Climb to the top of our 13-metre tower (via ladders) where you will be attached to the wire. Then fly through the trees and abseil to the ground.
